Kuipers Family Farm is a farming operation based in Maple Park, Illinois, that began as a 71-acre pumpkin patch opened in 1998 by Wade and Kim Kuipers and expanded over time to a larger 230-acre farm featuring apples, pumpkins, and seasonal activities. The farm provides an experiential, family-friendly farm environment that emphasizes outdoor play, fresh air, and kid-centered activities, while maintaining a connection to traditional Midwest farming experiences. Its offerings attract families and local visitors seeking hands-on seasonal experiences such as apple picking, pumpkin picking, hayrides, and festive events, with recent expansions including large-scale attractions like a tulip festival and a Dino Farm Adventure to enhance the visitor experience. The business operates within the farming industry and has grown through ongoing involvement from the founding family, with the next generation participating in daily operations and guest experiences at the farm.
