We start with a Cloud Strategy health check - does it have clear, consistent, and business results-oriented goals? These goals, whether previously defined, or developed via an engaging workshop process are key to ensuring that the architectural strategy of your could service are aligned with your business goals and will provide you efficiency and value. Architecture is often defined through a further set of workshops that ensure your cloud operations, developers, and business leaders are all clear on what the destination needs to be.

Pillar three, Implementation, happens once the architecture or architectures are defined. It is then possible to define the what and how of an implementation plan incorporating the required architectural elements that map to the overall Strategy. In many cases, there are only one or two new technologies that need to be implemented to support an updated and consistent architecture that supports the top line strategy.  Again, Kumulus is there to support the implementation regardless of the target environment.

Last, but certainly not least, is the last pillar, Education. While most implementations include some form of operations documentation, there is often a lack of utilization education.
