Kunstraum LLC designs, builds, and manages physical spaces for visual artists, drawing on collaboration with artists, architects, and economists. The environments produced are intended to support artistic research and community building while helping artists develop their careers by turning the studio into an active outreach platform. The service model emphasizes collective effort and adapts to the needs of individual artists within a shared, design-forward context.

Based in Brooklyn and serving the New York City art community, Kunstraum targets professional visual artists across disciplines and can attract national and international talent for short- or long-term occupancy. The spaces are renovated, comfortable, well heated, and retain a distinctive architectural character within a community-oriented, clearly defined layout. In 2020, Kunstraum launched a Curator-in-Residence program, illustrating an ongoing programmatic expansion within its artist-hub model.
