KutRite is a small to midsized, privately held manufacturer based in Romulus, Michigan, with roots dating to 1947 when brothers Ralph and Omero Neri founded the company. It began by producing Huntington Grinding Wheel Dressers, using a labor-intensive milling process to deliver higher-quality tools for dressing grinding wheels. Over time, the firm supplied milled steel cutters to manufacturers of concrete scarifiers and later expanded into its own carbide cutter line and broader surface-prep equipment, including the Full Face cutter design introduced in 2004.

In 2008 KutRite launched the Conquer Series of concrete grinders and polishers, a product line developed for the surface-prep market. The company remained family-owned until it reorganized as KRMC, LLC in 2002, and a buyout by Ralph O. Neri was completed in 2016, after which it continued its evolution in the surface-prep industry.
