KVCR Public Media serves the Inland Empire as the region’s PBS and PBS Kids television station (Channel 24) and NPR radio station (91.9 FM). We are also proud to be home to First Nations Experience (FNX), the nation’s only 24/7 channel dedicated to Native American and World Indigenous content, broadcast on Channel 24.2. Located on the campus of San Bernardino Valley College, part of the San Bernardino Community College District, KVCR has been a cornerstone of public media for 60 years. Our call letters, “K Valley College Radio,” reflect our educational roots and enduring commitment to lifelong learning. KVCR is a trusted source for news, education, and cultural storytelling across the Inland Empire. From local reporting and in-depth documentaries to children’s programming and Indigenous voices on FNX, we deliver content that informs, inspires, and empowers our community. We believe that access to free, accurate, and inclusive media strengthens civic participation and enriches lives. By investing in education at every stage, from our youngest learners to lifelong learners, we help shape informed, engaged, and thoughtful communities. Our connection to the Inland Empire goes far beyond the airwaves. KVCR engages with our community year-round through free events such as PBS KIDS Camp, Photos with Santa, and Operation Gobble. We proudly partner with local organizations to strengthen our shared impact and serve as a trusted source for collaboration and promotional support. We are deeply grateful for the community members and partners who contribute to our mission, helping KVCR continue to be a vital gem for our region. Public media has never been more important than it is now.
