La Colaborativa, founded in 1988 and based in Chelsea in the Greater Boston area, serves Latinx immigrants across the region. The organization collaborates with local residents to design and implement programs and community organizing efforts addressing food and housing security, economic opportunity, cultural celebration, and immigrant leadership that can drive long-term policy and system changes. Its work concentrates on gateway communities including Chelsea, East Boston, Everett, Lynn, Revere, and Malden. The nonprofit operates as a trusted resource for Massachusetts immigrant communities, delivering information and resources in linguistically and culturally appropriate ways to newly arrived immigrants, undocumented families, non-English speakers, and low-income tenants and workers. In 2025, The Greater Boston Food Bank recognized La Colaborativa as a Healthy Pantry.
