Surrounded by the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1982 with the merger of Grand Glaize/Osage Beach Chamber and Bagnell Dam Chamber merging.  The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is now located in the historical Willmore Lodge just northwest of Bagnell Dam.  The Chamber area includes businesses from W road in Lake Ozark, Horseshoe Bend, Osage Beach, Kaiser (Highway 42) and to Y road in Linn Creek.  

Known as the “Heart of the Lake of the Ozarks,” Lake Area has something for everyone – boating options, excellent shopping, an array of restaurants, beautiful golf course, resorts, hotels, campgrounds, places to hike or mountain bike, family attractions, historical sites and more! 

In addition to the vast number of attractions for visitors, the Lake Area is a wonderful place to call home, either seasonally or year around.  You will find everything you need – amazing schools and colleges, top notch medical facilities, professional banking and financial services, construction, real estate and many non-profit organizations. 

The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is managed by a Board of Directors, elected by the 550 + members, and is comprised of 15 volunteer business members throughout the community.  The Executive Director is responsible for day-to-day operations and reports directly to the Board.
