The Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center is a mid-sized non-profit based in Burlington, Vermont, that expands access to Lake Champlain through programs using non-motorized boats and related education. Celebrating its 29th year of operation, the organization provides recreational and educational offerings aimed at promoting the long-term stewardship of the lake. Its programs run year-round and emphasize hands-on learning about the lake’s environmental and human impacts, with participation open to people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and financial means.

It targets youth development and individuals with disabilities through signature programs designed to improve access for underserved populations, while partnering with more than sixty local organizations, schools, and businesses. The center has earned national recognition from U.S. Sailing for its adaptive sailing initiatives and innovative programming. In 2024 it announced upgrades to lake-access facilities as part of the Lake Access for All capital campaign, including a new launch ramp, a pier, an accessible ramp and walkways, and a dredged area to support sailboat launching.
