Lakehead Region Conservation Authority is a small environmental services organization based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It conducts activities characteristic of Ontario conservation authorities, including assessing flood risk along a 200-kilometre stretch of the Lake Superior shoreline and issuing flood outlooks for Thunder Bay and nearby communities. The authority also updates floodplain studies, such as those covering the Neebing River, to support local planning and risk assessment. In 2023, LRCA partnered with Thunder Country Diving to make Silver Harbour's dive park available as a training site for scuba certification and as a local attraction. Its work serves the regional municipalities and residents around Thunder Bay by providing flood risk information and updated floodplain maps to inform planning decisions. In January 2026, Donna Blunt was acclaimed as Chair of the Authority Board at the 72nd Annual General Meeting.
