Incorporated in 1975, Laketown Electric has been serving the Southern half of Minnesota for over 49 years.  In August of 2018, we purchased Javens Electric of Mankato, a company that specializes in industrial automation, industrial wiring, high voltage, low voltage and fiber work.  In early 2021, LEC developed an office in Rochester, MN. LEC is a contractor that specializes in design/build construction complete with engineering capabilities in house.  Our favorite projects are healthcare projects including surgery centers, clinics and hospital construction, manufacturing/food plant projects and large, high end commercial projects.  We are optimistic about the future and intend to grow our business as well as our relationships with our customers.

Seventy-five percent of our projects are performed under a design-build basis.  As of 8.1.23 we have 135+ full time employees and perform work within two hours of the Twin Cities Metro area and throughout Southern MN.  We also cover MN and the surrounding states.  Typical project sizes range between $100,000-$10+ million in electrical scope with a large bonding capacity.
