Lakeville Area Schools ISD 194 is a public K-12 district located in the south metro Minneapolis–St. Paul area, based in Lakeville, Minnesota. It serves more than 12,000 students across Lakeville and portions of Burnsville, Elko New Market, Eureka, Credit River and New Market, and operates a range of schools and programs including eight elementary schools (with a ninth opening in fall 2024), three middle schools, two high schools, an alternative learning center, an online K-12 option, early childhood programming, and community education offerings. The district serves as a local education system for families and communities, providing schooling and related educational services in a non-profit public context. 
 
 The district’s stated vision focuses on a safe, respectful, engaging, rigorous, and collaborative learning environment where all participants belong, are valued, and can succeed, while its mission emphasizes partnership with families and the broader community to prepare students academically, socially, civically, and personally. In March 2025 the district launched a monthly eNewsletter called 194PRIDE to share news with families and staff, reflecting ongoing communication with its community. In 2026, the Minnesota Department of Education noted Kennedy Elementary School third-graders achieved the second highest participation in the mathematics section of the 2024-25 MCA, illustrating strong engagement in math within the district.
