Back in 2003 Lamin-x Protective Films was founded to create an entirely new market of lens, paint, and surface protection for the automotive aftermarket industry. We were inspired by the racing industry's use of yellow headlights, and realized the market potential of clear and colored film covers for the automotive market. We wanted to use a quality product that is thick and strong enough to protect surfaces for long distance racing, yet it needed to be clear enough to not affect light optics. From that idea became an entire line-up of products that serve multiple, even endless purposes for many different industries.

Today, our customers use our films and tapes in all sorts of various and creative ways.  Either to solve unique problems or just for looks. You can find Lamin-x being used in the automotive, motorcycle, equipment, building, art, boating, cycling, or just a widget in an assembly line. Our protective films are that versatile!
