Founded in 2005, New York based Landseer Advisors serves as the investment office for a handful of nonprofit entities.  Our objective is to support the missions of schools, foundations, and other nonprofits by helping them successfully invest their endowments.  Funds are invested across a range of asset classes and geographies, primarily through allocations to external investment management firms.  Endowment portfolios include investments in public equity, private equity, real estate, natural resources, and various distressed debt and special situations strategies.

Landseer has a small, team-oriented work environment.  Members of the investment staff are generalists and need to be capable of underwriting both fund investments as well as direct investments.  Critical thinking and resourcefulness are encouraged across the organization.  Our investment approach is opportunistically-oriented, focused on identifying investment strategies or areas that are particularly attractive due to capital scarcity, complexity, dislocation, or misperception.
