In 1969, Gene Langan Sr. opened Gene Langan Volkswagen in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Mr. Langan worked for Volkswagen of America as a Service Manager for New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. He opened the first dealership using his experience with a focus on providing great service and exceeding expectations. His two sons, Gene and Glenn, followed in their father's footsteps, entering the family business during the 80s. Today, they proudly operate three Volkswagen dealerships which are located in Glastonbury, Meriden, and Vernon using the same customer focused approach.
