Since 1985, LTI has been a leader in the laser measurement industry. It’s an industry we pioneered with a laser the U.S. Government used to measure in-flight distances between planes, and we’ve been reinventing the way people gather data ever since. 

The uses for LTI’s patented technology runs the gamut, from a custom laser NASA uses in space to recreational rangefinders used by golfers and hunters around the world. With our professional lasers, we are constantly making it easier for people to collect data. For instance, LTI’s handheld reflectorless total station changed GIS mapping forever and our most recent pocket-sized laser with a 3-axis compass has made gathering field measurements safer and more efficient for everyone. 

LTI engineering also transformed the traffic safety world by introducing a portable laser speed gun that lets an officer pinpoint an individual vehicle even in dense traffic. We recently raised the bar once again with our all-in-one handheld video laser for speeding and tailgating enforcement.
