Last Chance Forever, the Bird of Prey Conservancy, is a nonprofit in the environmental services sector that rehabilitates sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey. The organization also conducts scientific investigation and prioritizes public education about raptors. Each year it accepts about 150-300 birds for care, and on average 65-80% of cases are successfully released back to nature; birds deemed non-releasable and not suffering are placed in propagation projects or educational and humane research uses.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, the conservancy is a small nonprofit focused on wildlife rehabilitation and public education. It was founded in 1978 by Master Falconer and Veterinary Technician John Karger. By combining care for birds of prey with scientific investigation and educational efforts, it engages with the public and broader conservation interests.
