Launch Academy, Inc. is a higher-education provider based in Boston, Massachusetts, offering an 18-week software development program. Before the program starts, participants complete 150-180 hours of interactive pre-learning to learn programming fundamentals, followed by on-campus study to become professional full-stack developers. The program follows a structured, challenge-based path that relies on pair programming and small-group work to simulate a software team's environment, guided by an emphasis on test-driven development and agile practices. Its participants are aspiring software developers seeking to enter the tech industry, with partnerships that help connect graduates to employers. In December 2020, the company expanded its footprint by launching Ventusengineering in the United Kingdom, signaling geographic growth beyond its Boston base.
