Laura George Consulting, LLC, is unique. We partner closely with families on the entire journey to college, providing an unparalleled level of customer service throughout our partnership. Our small team of expert tutors provides customized, one-on-one tutoring for the ACT, SAT, and PSAT. Our seasoned college coaches partner with students to provide essay and application guidance, which includes helping students brainstorm topics, develop, and strengthen their college essays, complete all aspects of their applications, and prepare for interviews. We take an individualized approach to developing the tutoring/coaching plan for each student so that we can equip them with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to reach their full potential. 

Our high school consulting services help families/students navigate high school course selection, extracurricular activity selection, and leadership development opportunities. Our college consulting services help families/students understand the steps involved in applying to college, develop target college lists, decide upon application strategy for Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision, and much more. 

Within the college application process, my fellow essay/application coaches and I help lead students through an organic process that includes brainstorming topics that will showcase who they are, leading them step by step through the development of their essays, and finally editing and polishing their final drafts. 

I am an experienced writer with professional training, and I have a background in advertising and marketing. I also served as a member of the Admissions Committee during my two years as a full-time student at the Kellogg School of Management. I founded Get It Write Consulting in 2006 and worked with students as a sole proprietor. In 2016, I incorporated my business as Laura George Consulting, LLC.
