Lava Room Recording is a small studio operating in the Cleveland area within the broadcast media production and distribution space. It was founded in 2003 by Mike Brown, a musician, engineer and producer who is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and it established itself through a multi-room setup that combined modern digital recording with a large-format analog console, helping attract major-label clients and gain national recognition. After a history of relocations and upgrades, the studio now operates from Beachwood, Ohio, continuing its dual focus on music recording and commercial audio production. The facility offers a range of services including tracking, mixing and mastering across styles, as well as audio production, composition and MIDI sequencing. It also provides voice-overs for commercials and multimedia, ADR, radio spots, sound design, Source Connect services and forensic audio restoration. By serving both artists and brands, Lava Room combines music capture with professional commercial audio work for local and national clients.
