Judy Burger is a Certified Family Law Specialist*.  A Certified Family Law Specialist is more than just an attorney who specializes in Family Law.  In order to become certified by the California State Bar as a Family Law Specialist she had to:

Take and pass an arduous written examination in Family Law;
Demonstrate a high level of experience in Family Law by having participated in a large number of court hearings, participation in  trial, sitting as a Judge Pro Temp, and completing  continuing education classes far above the required hours;
Be favorably evaluated by Judges she appears before and attorneys that are familiar with her work;
Go above and beyond fulfilling ongoing educational requirements to stay on top of the ever changing case and statutory law in order to better represent her clients.
