The owner Joseph Unger started The Lawn Ranger as a business in 1985, however he started grounds care in 1970 as a pre-teen. We currently service several of the original properties from over 35 years ago. In the beginning the company started out as a mowing service working for a new property management company and servicing several residential accounts. Through the years we have grown primarily through word of mouth from satisfied property managers and landscape customers.

Today we are honored to be on the preferred vender list of most leading property management companies.

The Lawn Ranger has a vast array of specialty services each division overseen by knowledgeable and experienced professionals. Our Services include Landscape Design and Installation, Seasonal Color, Snow & Ice Management, Tree & Shrub Care, Fertilization & Weed Control, Insect & Pest Control, Plant Diseases, Holiday lighting, Irrigation Service and Installation, and of course, Grounds Maintenance.

With headquarters located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, we service the entire 13 county metro area. We staff over 70 employees with 25 years experience and a fleet of modern equipment.
