Leadereview is ongoing program for leadership development. Each month, we address a specific leadership challenge. (This month we are exploring how to motivate people.) There are two key elements of the program - the reading and the teleconference. 1) Reading. At the beginning of the month you receive a package with a couple of books, an hour of the most relevant reading is tabbed for you and there is a Time Investment Guide. 2) Teleconference. Later in the month, there's a Q&A-format teleconference with one of the authors to discuss the book and our challenge. The authors are very generous - they share their contact information and welcome follow up calls and emails. The calls are 50 minutes long and are recorded, in case you can't participate live. All recordings of previous calls are available to you. A couple of ways to participate: As an individual. People of all levels participate in order to keep their leadership skills fresh. As a group. A variety of groups participate with the intent of continuing their development as individuals and as a group. A group of high potential managers participate to accelerate their development. Another group of leaders participates to find ways to develop themselves and their leaders. Some groups request a separate teleconference specifically for their group to further explore the material and its applicability for their organization. As a group with a private program. We work with companies to produce programs exclusively for their employees. These programs allow the companies to reinforce specific competencies and new directions.
