Leading Green Distributing assists local farmers by marketing and distributing their produce to grocery stores, restaurants and buying clubs. We are actively participating in the creation of a sustainable food infrastructure.

Leading Green was named "Sustainable Agriculture Business of the Year" by the Carolina Farm Sterwardship Association.

Leading Green Distributing is the only distribution company in central and western North Carolina with a dedication to 100% sustainability. The mission of the business is to bring more small farms into production with a focus on organic cultivation methods. The fleet of refrigerated trucks run entirely on bio-diesel to reduce the company's carbon footprint. Leading Green Distributing acts as a liaison between local farms and outlets such as grocery stores and restaurants.

Our route covers the Appalachian Grown area, with all the permits and insurance necessary to haul a wide variety of products. By combining seasonal harvests across the region, we provide a consistent supply of fresh vegetables to retail outlets year round.
