LeadingAge California is a not-for-profit association based in Sacramento, California, that serves as the state's principal advocate for quality nonprofit senior living and care. It represents more than 800 nonprofit providers offering a broad range of services, including affordable housing, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living, skilled nursing, and home- and community-based care, as well as their business partners and residents. Through advocacy, education programs, and public relations work, the organization helps its members meet the needs of more than 250,000 older Californians. Founded in 1961, the association operates in the public policy arena to influence aging services in the state. 

With a small-to-mid-sized staff, LeadingAge California maintains its focus on policy, education, and stakeholder engagement in California's aging services sector. In May 2026, the board named Phil Chuang as Director-At-Large.
