At Learner-Centered Collaborative, we envision education ecosystems that empower all learners to know who they are, thrive in community, and actively engage in the world as their best selves.

As a non-profit, LCC emerged from decades of experience in education—from classroom educator to district superintendent—spanning every corner of the country. Our team’s diverse set of experiences in education allowed us to see firsthand what works, identify the biggest challenges, and set ambitious goals for what is possible. We are guided by the persistent truth that a learner-centered approach is the foundation for a successful, thriving learning community. And we know that a shift to learner-centered is a collaborative endeavor.

Recognizing the complexity of change, driven by what’s best for learners, and informed by research and practice, we work closely with schools, districts, and states to find their new way forward. We leverage our unique approach and our ecosystem framework, along with an expansive set of tools and resources, through deep, multi-year partnerships that have helped more than 30 public school districts and over 250,000 learners realize more personalized, authentic, competency-based, equitable, and inclusive learning experiences putting more learners at the center, by design.
