Leipold Inc. is a precision turning company, located in Windsor, CT, since 1998, with 45 highly skilled employees.  We are one of the manufacturing locations of The Leipold Group.
The Leipold Group, founded in 1919 in the Black Forest region of Germany, is a family owned company, and is one of the oldest industrial turning shops in Germany.  The Leipold Group has a total of four production facilities in Germany and the USA, as well as a sales office in the United Kingdom, with over 450 total employees and more than 250 production machines, featuring CNC & CAM controlled machines, as well as rotary indexing equipment and many machines optimized by Leipold.
Leipold manufactures precision components up to 2.50” diameter from copper, brass, lead free brass, stainless, carbon and alloy steels, aluminum and more.  Servicing the automotive, electrical engineering, mechanical, telecommunications, medical, industrial and aviation industries, and readily providing engineering input, Leipold services customers worldwide.
Leipold offers the best of both worlds with local manufacturing here in the U.S. with support and global quality and technology.  We specialize in machining and handling of components that have close tolerances and high surface finish requirements, for critical applications.  Along with components, we offer cost effective value added processes, such as O-ring component assembly, laser marking and roller burnishing, in addition to custom packaging, labeling and bar coding.
The Leipold Group is certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009.  Leipold has extensive experience with PPAP standards per AIAG.
