Lenape Forged Products Corp. operates a metal forging plant in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and is well-known as a specialist in the production of custom forgings for heavy industrial and critical defense industry applications. We produce high performance aluminum, titanium, and steel forged products for the power generation, defense, aerospace, oil & gas, and chemical industries. Lenape is a leader in the manufacture of quick-opening, bolted-secured, circular, oval, and elliptical manways; and flat machined covers made of metals, including carbon, stainless steels, monel, copper/nickel alloys, aluminum, titanium, copper, brass, and a variety of custom alloys.

The company was founded in 1921 as the Lenape Hydraulic Pressing & Forging Co. Today, Lenape Forged Products employs nearly 50 union and non-union employees, and maintains more than 135,000-square-feet of production space. Lenape is a member of the American Industrial Acquisition Corporation's (AIAC).Aerospace and Specialty Metals Group. We proudly are certified by ASME as a Nuclear Materials manufacturer and hold ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001-2008; AS9100; and NADCAP (heat treat/lab) certifications, as well as being NIAC-approved. 

Specializing in custom application forgings, our list of customers includes the U.S. Navy, Curtiss-Wright, Messier Dowty, Hamill Manufacturing, Precision Castparts, Honeywell, and General Dynamics-Electric Boat. In addition to forging, Lenape also provides forming, heat treating, welding, grinding and grit blasting services. Our company operates machine testing, quality control, parting and shipping departments. The parting department provides sawing and frame cutting services. We employ several forging methods including contour, open and closed die, back extrusion, mandrel expansion, upsetting, piercing and punching.
