Leonard Paris is a French textile manufacturing house founded in 1958 and based in Paris, Île-de-France. The company has built a distinctive style around floral prints and an orchid emblem, including a pioneering approach to printing on fabrics, and in 1968 it introduced printed silk jersey dresses noted for their lightness. In the early 1970s it diversified product lines to perfumes, ties, and silk scarves, and developed its own distribution network. Leonard Paris joined the Comité Colbert in 1970 and later the French Federation of Couture, staging its first fashion show at the Carrousel du Louvre in 1994. Over the years its reach extended beyond France and Europe, reaching markets in Asia. In 2022 the brand was acquired by Sankyo Seiko, a Japanese wholesale and distribution company, and today it is led by President Akira Inoue.
