He started his professional career at one of the country’s leading literary agencies working in foreign rights for some of the world’s most recognized best-selling authors and has spent the following years starting up tiny non-profit magazines, fine-tuning giant corporate publishing operations, editing first novels, and generally doing his part to ensure a continued place for great books in the world.
