Level Ground is a Los Angeles, California-based media production organization that seeks to counter divisive cultural narratives through immersive experiences, collaborative projects, and artistic experimentation. The group emphasizes artistic collaboration and experimentation, aims to provoke empathy, and fosters conversation while building diverse relationships. It pursues cultural equity by operating outside traditional gatekeeping institutions, sharing access and influence with underrepresented artists through a cooperative network of intersecting identities.

In its practice, Level Ground positions itself to challenge both artists and audiences by creating spaces that may be uncomfortable at first, but are intended to provoke reflection and potential transformation. In December 2022, Level Ground launched the print edition of SKEW, unveiled at the opening night party of its seventh annual Festival.
