The Levy Economics Institute of Bard College is an independent, nonprofit think tank based in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. Its research addresses economic issues that influence quality of life, including financial stability, job creation, social inclusion, and sustainable growth. By integrating analyses from a range of experts and engaging policymakers and business leaders, it aims to broaden the policy debate and develop proposals for current and emerging economic challenges in the United States and beyond. In partnership with Bard College, the institute offers a two-year Master of Science in Economic Theory and Policy, with focus areas spanning macro theory and policy modeling, monetary structure, income distribution, gender equality and time poverty, and employment. It hosts events such as a Fall Seminar Series and an annual conference, with livestreams open to the public, and in 2025 announced US Representative Ro Khanna as the keynote for its 32nd Annual Conference.
