The Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission is a public agency in the recreational facilities sector serving residents of Lexington County, South Carolina. It was established by legislative act in 1968 as a Special Purpose District, with operations beginning in 1970 after starting without facilities or a budget. In 1980 it absorbed an existing senior citizen program administered by Richland Lexington Council on Aging, and in 1982 unofficially adopted the current name. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for Lexington County residents through program services, facilities, and education. In 2026 the commission announced a partnership with AstroTurf Corporation to install a new sports turf field at Lexington County Baseball Stadium.
