LG2 Lightboards is an e-learning provider based in San Diego, California. The company was founded by physics professor Matt Anderson, the inventor of the original lightboard. Its core concept centers on lightboards—clear glass panels illuminated from behind that allow instructors to write while facing their students, preserving eye contact and visible gestures.

By maintaining eye contact and signaling body language, the format aims to deliver a more interactive learning experience that mirrors in-person instruction. An academic study reported that 66% of students preferred lightboards for a better learning experience. The company operates with a small team within the e-learning sector.
