Lidar Guys, L.L.C. (LG) is a ground-based lidar services company headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We also have our Four-corners office located in Crested Butte Colorado and several affiliated partners in Sacramento, California; Denver, Colorado; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Houston, Texas. Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing technology that we combine with high-resolution digital photography, and digital surface models  to generate 3D geospatial imagery suitable for geologic and geospatial analysis. We also directly analyze the lidar data to maximize the utility of this powerful technology.

In addition to deploying lidar, we can also generate 3D imagery based on photogrammetry techniques.  The same data can also be used to generate high resolution photo textured models of geospatial models.

Lidar Guys LLC also provides consulting services to a broad range of markets including Environmental and Natural Resource Management, Engineering and Construction, Mining, Energy, Cultural Preservation and Archaeology, Entertainment, and Forensics.

Our primary instruments are the Optech Ilris 3D time-of-flight, long-range scanner, and the Faro Focus 3D phase-based, short-range scanner.  Combined together, these technologies can provide data for a wide-range of geospatial services.
