Life without school is an ongoing, evolving community of children, parents and teachers who seek to create and maintain an environment for learning that meets the needs of all involved. We match teachers with families. We develop homeschool and "unschool" curriculum. We provide access to tools, space, and expertise. We are not a school; we foster individualized, real-world learning. We are not a child-care center; we host educational activities in various locations throughout the Greater New Orleans area. We are both a physical and an online community of people -- children and adults -- engaged in life-long, non-institutional learning.
