LifeNet International works with faith-based health facilities in last-mile communities across Africa to prevent maternal and newborn deaths. The organization strengthens medical and management capabilities, certifies care against international standards, introduces innovations, and provides ongoing mentoring to raise the quality and compassion of care. These facilities are often the most trusted and affordable health care option, delivering about 40% of the continent’s health services. Founded in 2012 and based in Washington, DC, LifeNet operates a cross-continent network of more than 500 facilities across seven countries, supporting over 10 million patient visits annually. In 2025, the LifeNet network saved more than 6,500 mothers and babies, and the organization marked 50 million patient visits since its founding. In December 2025, LifeNet announced a strategic partnership with Data Elevates to enhance digital health services across sub-Saharan Africa.
