Light Up Learning (L.U.L.) is an educational, non-profit corporation that exists to provide exceptional, appropriate and accessible educational therapies for struggling learners of all ages throughout South Florida.
   
L.U.L. found its name and inspiration in the life of its founder, Jessica Castillo.  In 2005, one of Mrs. Castillo’s daughters was diagnosed with multiple learning disabilities, and quickly became overwhelmed with the difficulties facing her.  The light of hope that is seen so clearly in the eyes of a child, was slowly being extinguished from her daughter’s with every challenge.  Every aspect of their lives was impacted – school, home, social and spiritual. An educator, Jessica was compelled to find a solution that was effective, permanent and affordable. She found NILD later that year, enrolled her daughter in the program, and became a therapist herself. Due in large part to the incredible intervention of NILD Educational Therapy® (and her therapist), her daughter’s all lit up again, and more confident than ever! Since then, Jessie has helped many students “light up” and discover that they are wonderfully made, and ready for a future filled with hope!
