Since it's founding in 1927, Lindahl Brothers, Inc., has earned its reputation as a leading excavating contractor in the Chicagoland area.

Lindahl Brothers was founded by three brothers. They began with a couple of trucks used to haul coal, granite, cynder block, and ash, which were parked behind their parents house in Chicago. At first the trucks were loaded by hand, and later earthmoving equipment was added to expedite the loading of material. They have since expanded and continue to complete earthmoving projects using their modern fleet of equipment and trucks.

Lindahl Brothers expanded its operation in 1978 to include recycling of broken concrete to save landfill space and reuse the crushed material in new projects.

Lindahl Brothers continues to improve services for their customers by utilizing the latest advancements in technology that are available.
