Prior to co-founding the firm, Doug Lipsky and Chris Lowe worked together at the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, a first-rate labor and employment practice. They leverage their combined knowledge, experience, and skill to successfully represent individuals, classes, and small businesses in all types of employment matters.

Prior to co-founding Lipsky Lowe, Doug was a partner in Bronson Lipsky LLP, where he successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients in cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contact, and unpaid wages, tips, and overtime. Widely respected among his peers, Doug has been named a New York Magazine Super Lawyer for every year since 2011. Having been a court-appointed class counsel in several collective and class action lawsuits, Doug is a highly competent litigation attorney. He is also a well-respected advisor of corporate clients, assisting them in creating and implementing personnel policies that are both practical and provide legal protection.

Chris Lowe was also already a well-known attorney before co-founding Lipsky Lowe. During the 17 years he worked for Seyfarth Shaw (12 of them as a partner), he led the firm’s New Jersey Practice Group, representing numerous Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies in a wide range of legal services. He handled litigations in state, federal and appeals courts for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State and New Jersey Divisions of Human Rights, fighting for the civil rights of those who were being sexually harassed, individuals with disabilities, whistleblowers and all individuals who were suffering unlawful discrimination. He has also litigated class/collective actions for employees who had been denied overtime, and given numerous speeches on legal matters from ranging from white-collar exemptions to the Fair Labor Standards Act to electronic discovery.
