Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly San Francisco operates as the San Francisco chapter of a national network of volunteer-based nonprofit organizations dedicated to alleviating isolation and loneliness among older adults. The organization connects volunteers with elderly individuals to provide social interaction and companionship within a nonprofit framework. Based in San Francisco, California, it participates in a broader nationwide effort to improve seniors' well-being. As a nonprofit entity, it relies on volunteers rather than paid staff to deliver its services.

It serves elderly residents who may be at risk of isolation, aiming to reduce loneliness and promote community engagement through person-to-person connections. In March 2020, the organization announced a partnership with Observe.AI, marking a collaboration with a technology partner to support its mission.
