Little Free Library operates a nonprofit network of volunteer-led small libraries that expand access to books, foster community connection, and reflect a stated vision of a library in every community and a book for every reader. Across 50 states, 128 countries, and all seven continents, more than 200,000 registered book exchanges enable millions of titles to be shared each year.

Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, the organization is part of the nonprofit literacy sector and has received recognitions from the World Literacy Award as well as honors from the Library of Congress, National Book Foundation, Library Journal, and the Women's National Book Association. In June 2026, the network opened a new Little Free Library location in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
