Live Wire Radio is an independently produced nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon. The program combines dialogue with live music and original comedy, featuring a broad spectrum of cultural talent from emerging artists to established acts. It creates live and recorded listening experiences for its audience and the creators who participate. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and its broadcasts reach more than 200 radio stations nationwide with weekly listenership exceeding 300,000. 

Based in Portland, the organization operates with a relatively small to mid-sized team. In January 2025, Live Wire Radio announced the launch of a new initiative called Fully Charged.
