Lizzie Driver was founded in 2011 by two friends with a simple goal to bring together incredible fabrics, great fit and classic style. After successful careers in business and raising children, Karen Preston and Lorrie Forgatch partnered to create beautiful golf apparel that aligned with their off-course wardrobes. Their vision was to develop a collection that functions equally well on the country club fairway as at meetings, social events or almost any other activity in a busy woman’s life. They christened their brand Lizzie Driver by combining their shared middle name – Elizabeth – with that of the “golf club that drives the ball the farthest.” Catering to women age 30 and up and countering the notion that golf clothes don’t have to be beautiful, Lizzie Driver boasts finely crafted tops, bottoms, dresses, sweaters and jackets, most of which are made in downtown Los Angeles. In an era of disposable fast-fashion and consistent price compression, Lizzie Driver has staked out a premium position by offering the very best fabrics, fit and style. Its collections are distributed through over 300 better shops throughout the country and several international markets.
