Loaf ‘N Jug was founded by Sam Sharp and Paul Jones in 1973. The first convenience store was established in Fowler, Colorado. Loaf ‘N Jug quickly grew to 152 locations. The stores became a staple in middle America, expanding into other states such as Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. In 2018, all 152 Loaf ‘N Jug convenience stores were purchased by EG Group.
