The Lockheed Martin Leadership Association Bay Area Chapter provides our members with opportunities for programs, professional development, personal development, youth development, community service, social activities and networking that develops tomorrow’s leaders. 

Our mission is to provide leadership and management development opportunities aligned with our Lockheed Martin Corporate goals and objectives which meet the needs of our diverse membership.

In addition to affiliation with Lockheed Martin, the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association Bay Area Chapter is a chapter of NMA, which is the professional society for Management and Leadership. Our values align with both those of Lockheed Martin and NMA. We believe that leadership is effecting change - taking people, ideas, processes and products from where they are to where they need to be. As a part of NMA, we are dedicated to building leadership and harnessing the leadership qualities of each of our 500 members.
 
In today’s Lockheed Martin, Full Spectrum Leadership means that each of us can learn to move mountains, no matter where we sit in the organization. Success is measured by how well we forge and form effective relationships. We must learn to facilitate, not dominate; influence, not inflame; and disagree without being disagreeable. These aren’t just survival skills … they’re leadership skills as well.
 
Bay Area Chapter activities complement Lockheed Martin leadership and development. We are one of 16 Lockheed Martin Leadership Association NMA chapters throughout the United States.
