Los Alamos Medical Center is a 47-bed acute care hospital located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. It is the only hospital in Los Alamos County and serves as a major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico, offering emergency, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient services. The facility has served the region for more than 70 years and operates within Lifepoint Health as a national quality leader. 

In April 2026, the center announced a regional obstetrics model developed in partnership with CHRISTUS Health and Presbyterian Health Services, coordinating obstetric services with CHRISTUS St. Vincent in Santa Fe and Presbyterian Española Hospital. The initiative aims to expand access to obstetric care across Northern New Mexico by aligning multiple facilities to serve pregnant patients and new families.
