Loughborough Schools Foundation is a thriving community of three outstanding independent schools and a nursery, providing exceptional education for children aged from 6 weeks to 18 years. Tracing its history back to 1495, the Foundation blends over 500 years of academic excellence with a forward-looking, globally minded approach that prepares young people to flourish in an ever-changing world. The Foundation comprises Loughborough Nursery (co-educational, 6 weeks to 4 years), Fairfield Prep School (co-educational, 3–11), Loughborough Grammar School (boys, 10–18, day and boarding) and Loughborough High School (girls, 11–18, day and boarding). Each school has its own distinctive character and ethos, but our greatest strength lies in our shared Foundation community. Together, we offer outstanding facilities on a safe, welcoming and inclusive campus, giving families the confidence that their children can progress seamlessly from first words through to final exams, and beyond. As one of the largest employers in Loughborough, the Foundation plays an active role in the town and region. Beyond our economic impact, we contribute through a culture of service, with pupils and staff supporting schools, charities, volunteering projects and fundraising activities that make a real difference in our community. Our sporting facilities are regularly used by local clubs and groups, and we play an active role in significant local events such as Loughborough’s Remembrance Day commemorations. Loughborough Schools Foundation is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity in England and Wales. The Company Registration number is 4038033 and the Charity Registration number is 1081765.
