Louis M. Martini Winery is a small, established beverage producer based in Saint Helena, California, in the Napa Valley. Founded in 1933 by an Italian immigrant, the winery has long centered its craft on Cabernet Sauvignon as its flagship red and favors hillside fruit. Monte Rosso Vineyard, secured high in the Mayacamas range at up to 1,200 feet, has been an estate property since 1938 and contributes vines dating to the 1940s to its red wines. Today, Mark Williams serves as the fifth winemaker, producing Cabernets from mountain vineyards including Stagecoach near Atlas Peak at elevations exceeding 1,800 feet and Cypress Ranch in the Howell Mountain rain shadow at about 1,200 feet. The winery's original facility has undergone restoration and now hosts immersive tasting and culinary experiences led by Executive Chef Aaron Meneghelli. In 2022, Louis M. Martini Winery partnered with The Wine Stop, Inc. to create hand-crafted aprons dyed with Cabernet Sauvignon, illustrating a continued engagement with partners in its ecosystem.
