I'm Louise Michaud, an award-winning Salem and North Shore of Boston Photographer. I'm best known for headshots, personal branding and contemporary portraits and have been a professional photographer for over 36 years. 

I know most people are uncomfortable having their pictures taken. My clients say that I have a great ability to put them at ease and make the photography session fun.

I am a master of lighting and a coach to pull out the best expressions from you. I have an eagle eye that checks for anything out of place, like stray hair, jewelry, and tie adjustments, to help you make the perfect first impression.



A standout headshot is crucial in the era of LinkedIn profiles, professional websites, and social media presence. Your headshot is often the first impression you make in the professional world, so putting your best foot forward is essential. 

I will work with you one-on-one to show you how to pose and get your best expressions (with a live feed). I'm available to work on location or in our studio.

I have the honor of receiving 2 Kodak Gallery Awards, 4 Fuji Masterpiece Awards,  The Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Photojournalism Award, and numerous state, regional, and national competition awards.

I grew up in Salem, Massachusetts, and received my BFA in Visual Design from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Since then, I have been awarded the Photographic Craftsmen Degree, a Master of Photography Degree, and became a Certified Professional Photographer, all through Professional Photographers of America.
