Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) acts as the state's principal business advocacy organization, functioning as both the state chamber of commerce and the state manufacturer association. With a history spanning more than four decades, LABI has built credibility with state officials to influence policy in the interests of its members. Its membership covers a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, energy, manufacturing, retail, finance, construction, logistics, and more, all united to strengthen Louisiana's economy. LABI maintains a year-round legislative presence to bring business concerns to policymakers and to help ensure that policy changes reflect those concerns. In 2025, LABI's Center for Free Enterprise released its Legislative Scorecard, documenting lawmakers' positions on business-related issues.
